Touch Computer

This new computer comes as a coffee table. This coffee table has a screen in which it can sense multiple touches at once so you can do multiple actions at the same time. Because of this function, this touch screen computer beats the mouse any day. Underneath this computer are infrared detectors that can detect any object put on the table. It also can connect to wireless devices such as cameras or phones and send information from one device to another without plugging anything in.

Andrew, this sounds interesting, but could you tell us what it is called, who manufactures it, and some of its uses?

This seems like a cool piece of technology seeing how touch screen computers have been out for a while. Almost every company makes a touch screen computer. Although the first company to ever make a touch screen notebook was Fujitsu.

This seems like a very cool feature because it make it easier to share photos with family than huddling around a little screen. The multi touch technology is pretty cool i have a version of it from HP touchsmart.Did you know it sees what is on the tabletop by infared cameras!

Interesting to see just how far the home computer might come. Reworking the basic blueprints like a mouse and keyboard will definitely help develop new and challenging ideas for computers to come.

Here are some more facts and video

This can really revolutionize the food industry and can make paying your bill and ordering food so much easier! As shown in this video: http://gear.ign.com/dor/objects/909880/microsoft-surface/videos/mssurface_4.html

Only problem is that each one of theese cost around 10,000 dollars!
