Justin this seems like a cool idea and I would know because I have something like this at home. Using those certain cables I can make my Xbox360 produce pictures, movies, and shows to my TV. Also you can hook up this box to over fourteen different components.

SageTV has been around for a while as a program too! There are also many alternatives that do the same thing such as BeyondTV. The great thing about using theese as DVR's is that you can add custom features such as automatic commercial skipping!

This is a cool piece of technology. Another few good points are that it isn't as expensive as it should be and it is also small and compact. This small compact device also supports many formats such as MPEG 1/2/4, H.264, WMV9, VC1, MKV, MOV, AVI, FLV, AAC, MP3, WMA, FLAC and JPEG.

Did you know the HD Theater is launching for the same $199.95 and with a slightly smaller footprint, the same remote as the HD100, USB ports on the front and rear, an Ethernet jack and more.

Great post, I've actually been looking for something that would do exactly that. It is cool to see how different technologies are brought together to create something better.

Yeah … .That is pretty cool but talk about America being the fattest nation. Every time we (as in the Human race) make another technological advance we it just makes it easier to do things and we get lazier and lazier
“SageTV's $200 HD Theater connects to your home network via Ethernet (so if your TV and router are not in the same room, you'll need a long cord or a set of power line network extenders), and then to your TV via HDMI, S-Video, or composite A/V cables”.
